Conference Building on the success of the previous seven Fintech conferences held from 2017 to 2023, the 8th Shanghai-London-Edinburgh Fintech Conference will take place on 29 October 2024. This prestigious event is jointly organized by the Shanghai Institute of International Finance Centre (SIIFC) at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, the University of Edinburgh Business School, and the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction at University College London. The field of Financial Technology (FinTech) continues to grow rapidly, offering rich opportunities for research and innovation. This conference aims to showcase high-quality theoretical and empirical research on FinTech, with a focus on its impact on various aspects of finance and economics. We welcome submissions that explore cutting-edge developments and offer new insights into topics such as, but not limited to:

British Accounting Review Special Issue Submission Procedure The editors of the British Accounting Review (BAR) invite conference participants to submit their papers for consideration in a special issue focused on Fintech. As the flagship journal of the British Accounting and Finance Association, the BAR has been a leading voice in the field since its founding in 1969. With a recent CiteScore of 8.6 and an Impact Factor of 5.5, BAR is globally recognized as a leading outlet for publishing high-quality research in accounting and finance. It holds an A* rating in the ABDC Journal Quality Guide. Please note that acceptance to the conference does not guarantee publication in the special issue, and submissions are open to all, not just conference participants. The primary goal of the conference is to offer valuable feedback to help authors refine their manuscripts.
