The BAR’s Global Conference in Cape Town
The British Accounting Review is proud to announce its inaugural global conference to produce innovative, impactful and thought-provoking accounting and finance research at the University of Cape Town, South Africa (onsite & online) on 8-9 December 2023. We welcome submissions on various novel and significant topics in accounting and finance, and particularly encourage those that shed light on the challenges and innovative solutions to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Established in 1892, the University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa's oldest and most venerable higher education institution. For almost 200 years it has maintained a proud tradition of academic excellence, which today sees it ranked among the world's leading teaching and research institutes. The city of Cape Town boasts an unparalleled blend of natural beauty, vibrant culture, and a thriving urban life, making it a remarkable city to visit. Its unique landscapes, diverse culinary scene, and rich history provide residents with a uniquely captivating experience for visitors.
